The weather is finally starting to warm up in Atlanta, and you know what that means - festival season!
If you've lived in Atlanta for one or more festival seasons, chances are that you'll have a favorite. If you've never been to the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival, you might have a new one this year!
Taking place on Saturday, March 24th and Sunday, March 25th at Blackburn Park, the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival is the first major event of Atlanta's spring/summer festival calendar. The festival is going to feature a variety of events perfect for the whole family - some highlights include:
The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival 5k Run/1k Walk is taking place on Sunday, March 25th; this event is a qualifier for the beloved Peachtree Road Race, and proceeds will benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta! Register for the event here.
Unlike many other Atlanta festivals, pups are welcome here! There will be a Pet Parade where pups can wear their best costumes.
There will be an amazing lineup of fantastic musicians, including headliner and country artist Craig Morgan, plus other big names like Keith Anderson and Five for Fighting!
There will be a large artist market featuring 100+ booths - you can find it on the picturesque street that runs through Blackburn Park.
Car enthusiasts will love the classic car show at the festival - it's become one of the fan-favorite traditions of the event!

Multiple parking areas will be available off-site, with free, frequent shuttles taking guests to Blackburn Park for the event. If you take MARTA to the festival (stop at the Chamblee station) free shuttles will be available to the festival as well. Visit the festival website for detailed maps of designated parking areas.
Headliner Craig Morgan will be performing at the festival's free concert on Saturday, March 24th at 4:45 pm. See the full lineup of artists at the festival website!
No outside food or beverages are permitted at the festival, but alcohol will be available for guests that are 21+ (in addition to food and drinks for all ages).
The Pet Parade will begin at 1:30 pm on Sunday, March 25th. There will be prizes for Best Costume and Fan Favorite!
The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom festival is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 25.
