Looking for your wing fix? You're in luck. This Sunday, August 5th, Taste of Atlanta is hosting the ultimate Southern Wing Showdown in collaboration with Springer Mountain Farms + Big Green Egg!
The festival will be held at The Fairmont (on the Westside, just a few minutes from Westside Provisions District) on Sunday, August 5th from 2-5 pm, with VIP entry starting at noon. Guests can expect unique tastes of 30 wings served up by some of the South's best chefs from Atlanta to Mobile (15 from local chefs, and 15 from chefs around the Southeast!) Craft beer + live entertainment will help set the tone for this "party with a purpose" - part of festival proceeds go to support local charities Angel Flight Soars and Second Helpings Atlanta.
A variety of local Atlanta favorites will be slingin' their wings at the festival, from Ludacris' restaurant Chicken + Beer to the BeltLine's beloved Ladybird and newcomer New Realm Brewing. Don't forget to grab some wings from out-of-towners like Poogan's Smokehouse from Charleston or Funk Soul Brother! from Franklin, TN just outside of Nashville.
New to this year's festival - all-inclusive tickets! For one price, each ticket includes wing samples, as well as tasty sides and a selection of craft beer, wine, and liquor.
