I recently had such a cool opportunity to do a restaurant crawl at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport! A group of fellow food bloggers and I got to hop around to 5 different airport restaurants to sample their food + drinks; the food crawl was a preview for the upcoming Taste of Hartsfield-Jackson, which will be held at the airport on November 8th!

Jekyll Island Seafood Company allows airport travels to snag a taste of the Georgia Coast, no matter where they're traveling to. We noshed on grilled Atlantic salmon and shrimp cocktail, as well as tried the Georgia Peach, their signature drink!
If you can believe it, this airport BBQ outpost has a full smoker in the kitchen (pretty amazing for an airport restaurant). Come for the BBQ, stay for the crazy-good banana pudding for dessert.
Owned by rapper Ludacris, this down-south Southern joint serves up some pretty spectacular fried chicken dishes. You absolutely must try the collard bowl and tangy, fruit froze (frozen rose!)
The newest restaurant on our airport food crawl, Bobby's Burger Palace is a brand-new addition to the Atlanta Airport, owned & operated by world-famous Chef Bobby Flay.
The burger menu is pretty classic, with a few special additions (like the ATL burger with pimento cheese, and the green chile cheeseburger topped with queso, roasted green chiles, and pickled red onion). The milkshakes are thick & creamy - my picks are the strawberry & mint chocolate chip.
Low Country rolled out the red carpet for our group - we had a checkered table cloth + red roses at our table, right in the middle of the airport dining room! This is definitely a stop for hearty Southern food, perfect before a long flight out of Hartsfield Jackson.
