Playing Cash Pop on the go at one of my favorite new brunch spots!
I grew up in Florida, where playing the lottery was a right of passage when you turned 18. Now, living in Atlanta, I’m in a very walkable neighborhood, and don’t drive much anymore - as a result, it’s been a while since I’ve played the lottery (as I’m not stopping by gas stations as much!)
When I learned about the new Cash Pop game from The Georgia Lottery, I was super excited about how accessible it is on-the-go. You can play from your desktop at home, or from the convenience of your phone - I’m always out and about, so this was a huge plus!
Cash Pop is super simple to play - you just pick one number, and that’s all you need for the chance to win up to $1,250, up to 5 times per day. If your number matches, you win! Some more details of the game:
Players can select numbers from 1-15 or they can choose the Quik Pik option and have the computer randomly select for them.
Play for $1, $2, or $5 per play, and purchase up to five consecutive drawings.
All cash prize values start at five times the dollar amount played.
Overall odds of matching your number to the winning number are 1 in 15.
Cash Pop drawings will be held five times daily: 8 a.m. – Early Bird; 1 p.m. – Matinee; 5 p.m. – Drive Time; 8 p.m. – Prime Time; and 11:59 p.m. – Night Owl.
I played Cash Pop for the first time while walking in my neighborhood (Old Fourth Ward) to meet up with some friends for brunch. It was so easy to play right from my phone! When I got to brunch, my friends even helped me pick out my number - there were 7 of us who met for brunch, so we all decided 7 was a lucky pick!
Every dollar played through Cash Pop goes to funding for Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship and Pre-K programs, and a few of my brunch friends happened to be previous HOPE scholarship recipients! It’s awesome that you have the chance to win money while supporting this amazing program in our state.
